How mould design is done
The first step in the creation of a plastic product is obviously the design. It is at this delicate stage that the feasibility of the design delivered to us is verified, and we proceed with virtual simulation using sophisticated 3D and CAD/CAM software. Thanks to these computerised techniques, we are able to create three-dimensional objects from vector drawings, which help us to minutely observe every smallest detail and modify as necessary before creating a prototype of the object.
Prototyping is then the next stage, which is just as important because it allows us to touch the quality of the finished product. We therefore make a few prototypes and test them in detail. After correcting any inaccuracies, we move on to the large-scale moulding phase, saving energy, time and costs.
